PointClickCare SUMMIT 2017 begins on Monday, November 6 with an evening Welcome Reception onsite at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. The conference sessions begin Tuesday, November 7 and the conference will close at noon on Thursday, November 9.
Yes, your family is welcome to stay with you at the hotel. However, please note that the conference sessions, evening events and meals are only available to registered attendees.
Guest passes for the evening events will be available for advance purchase through the SUMMIT registration site. Guests must be 21+ to attend the evening events.
We recommend business casual attire for the conference sessions. Evening events are business casual to casual so please bring comfortable clothing and footwear. The average temperature in Orlando, Florida during November ranges from 78°F (25°C) to 57°F (14°C). As we will be outdoors for the evening events, please plan your wardrobe appropriately should we encounter cooler or inclement weather conditions.

Those wishing to attend SUMMIT can register up to the event dates, and may also register onsite. However, we recommend registering as soon as possible to take advantage of Early Bird pricing, which has been EXTENDED to June 30.
If you cancel before July 31 you will receive a 100% refund. A 50% refund will be given to attendees who cancel between August 1 and September 14. No refunds will be offered for cancellations received on or after September 15.
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation. The deposit will serve to confirm the reservation for the date(s) indicated and, upon check-in, shall be applied to the first night of the reserved stay. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit one night’s room and tax deposit. Should you need to cancel, please contact the reservations department at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.
For your convenience, you may book your accommodations directly through the hotel via the Reservation link provided on the SUMMIT website. The conference rate is $209 USD (+ 13.5% tax) per night and you will be required to enter your credit card number to hold the room. A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each individual’s reservation.
If you need to cancel your attendance but wish to send someone in your place, please contact us so we can ensure that there is a name badge and necessary materials for the new attendee.
Attendees should arrive by the afternoon of Monday, November 6 to participate in the Welcome Reception that evening. However, if you are registered to participate in a pre-conference training course on November 6, please plan your arrival accordingly.
The conference typically ends at noon on the last day, which is Thursday, November 9. If you plan to leave on Thursday, we recommend taking a 3:00pm or later departure time to avoid missing your flight.
